Thanksgiving Drive-Thru Food Collection

Join us in donating for the Thanksgiving Drive-Thru Food Collection being held on November 8, 2025!
The Cranford United Methodist Church invites everyone to donate if they are able to lessen the burden for struggling families this holiday season. The drive-thru food collection will be held from 10 am - 12 pm on Saturday, November 8th. All donations support Cranford Family Care and St. Joseph's Social Services Center in Elizabeth. 

Donating is simple! Pack your car up with suggested items or food, pull into the church parking lot, and pop your trunk! Volunteers will take the unloading responsibilities from here. If you are unavailable this date but still want to donate through the holiday season, there will be a bin near the Free Little Pantry in the church parking lot. This open donation bin is available 24/7 for the ultimate convenience. 

Please find below a list of suggested items:
Fresh produce- yams, sweet potatoes, apples, pears, potatoes, celery, carrots, onions, and garlic.
Thanksgiving items- stuffing, canned yams, canned green beans, cranberry sauce, applesauce, bottled gravy, and broth.
Salt, pepper, oil, spices, and salad dressing.
Pantry staples- coffee, jam, sugar
Cookies and pudding.
Canned chicken and tuna.
Chick peas.
Canned Fruit.
Baby wipes.
Diapers sizes 5,6,7.

If you'd like to volunteer, the church is always welcoming new help! The food drive-thru is hosted the second Saturday of each month.
