Green Team Free Market

For the eighth year in a row, the Green Team will be hosting their annual Free Market.

This will take place in the South Avenue lot in Westfield, NJ, between 8am - 2pm on April 25, 2026.

For no cost, you may take home for free or donate for yard-sale quality items.

These items include but are not limited to; clothing, kitchen items, garden tools, housewares, sports equipment, and books.

By taking home these items, waste is eliminated and less useable items go to the landfill. 

If you wish to submit donations for the event, there is a pre-registration form that can be filled out on the Westfield NJ public website.

The conditions for donations are listed below per the Westfield public website:

• Donated items must be new or gently used, clean, in workable condition, and able to be carried by an individual.
• Items should be clearly labeled in boxes or paper bags (not plastic bags) and separated by category, so they can be easily sorted and made available to browsers.
• Categories of accepted items include clothing, shoes, accessories, jewelry, kitchenware, housewares like blankets and bedding, books, CDs, DVDs, video games, flat screen TVs, electronics, sporting goods, small furniture, toys, musical instruments, lamps, gardening tools, sleds, school/office supplies, and sporting goods.
• Categories of non-accepted items include large appliances and furniture, mini-refrigerators, air conditioners, tube TVs, computer monitors, food items, fragile glassware, strollers, car seats, cribs, exercise equipment, mattresses, foam pads, carpets, ladders, recyclables (like paper, cans, etc.), textbooks, and magazines.
